BUYING A SINGH HOME IS EASY!

Buying a new home is an exciting experience!  The steps listed below give you an idea of the process for making your dream home a reality.

Step 1: Mortgage Pre-Approval.
Financial considerations are the beginning step in the purchase of a new home.  You will need to provide your mortgage counselor with certain documents, including (but not limited to):

- most recent paycheck stub showing year-to-date income for anyone applying for the loan
- two (2) years of W-2 forms or complete tax returns, if you are self-employed
- two (2) months of your most recent bank, asset account, and retirement statements

The selection of a mortgage lender is important to you for many reasons.  You should consider availability of long term loan commitments, experience, and reputation when looking for a mortgage lender.   Singh Homes will provide you with a list of preferred lenders to help in your selection.  The lenders we recommend have years of experience providing new construction loans to our buyers and offer competitive fees and a simple, easy process.

Step 2: Location. Location. Location!
Visit our Singh communities in Novi, Canton, Commerce Township, Lyon Township, and Wixom to find the one that is perfect for you.  Next, you will select your new home plan from a variety of Ranch, Cape Cod, and Colonial style homes.  You can be assured of finding the home that is the right size, with the right options, in the right community for you!

Step 3: Personalize Your Home.

The construction experience allows you to personalize your home to best fit your needs and desires.  At this step in the process you will make decisions concerning the many exterior and interior elements of your new home.

Step 4: Pre-Construction Meeting.
Before construction begins, you will meet with our Construction Team and review the many specifics of your new home.  The entire Singh Homes team wants you to understand the process of constructing your new home so you can better enjoy the experience.

Step 5: Building Your New Home.

Construction times may vary depending on municipality and weather conditions, but you will be able to follow each step of the process with our Construction Checklist and our Construction Team will be available to answer all your questions.  Vigorous inspections throughout construction assure you of the highest quality built home and Singh’s “Tradition of Excellence”.

Step 6: Pre-Closing Walk Through.

Shortly before closing you will walk through your new home.  Our Construction Team will inspect the home with you, discuss care and maintenance, and review the warranty for your home.  A final walk-through on the day of closing will occur so we can answer any questions you may have.

Step 7: Closing Appointment.

Warranty Title will provide your closing documents and guide you through your closing appointment.  Congratulations, you are now the proud owner of a new Singh home!
