Employee Spotlight - Cipriana Rajsic

Our team members at Singh are our biggest strength, and our pride and joy! Meet the people who make Singh a success every day in the monthly Employee Spotlight. These employees are selected from several hundred employees across Waltonwood Senior Living, Singh Apartments, Singh Homes and the corporate office for their exemplary commitment to excellence.

This month, get to know Cipriana Rajsic, Service Specialist at Waltonwood Lakeside. Cipriana has been working with the Independent Living residents since 2010.

Cipriana is known for her warm smile and personality. Patricia, also a Service Specialist, talks about Cipriana, “She always puts the residents first. Whatever they need, she will gladly do, plus more. When she isn’t here, the residents want to know where she is!”

Q. What do you enjoy most about working at Singh?

A. “The residents! They are the reason why I am here. As a Service Specialist, I escort residents to and from dinner, administer medication, and basically do anything to make them comfortable. And, I enjoy every single one of them.”

Q. What do you find the most challenging?

A. “It makes me sad if I’m not able to help someone. I want to do everything for them!”

Q. In your opinion, what sets Singh apart from the competition?

A. “We pay a little bit more attention to people’s needs – I think that’s the difference with Singh. I used to volunteer for Hospice and would go to different communities. I didn’t see people caring as much as I do here at Singh.”

Q. What’s your favorite memory from working at Singh?

A. “I remember specific residents. There was one woman who was such an incredible lady, I will remember her forever! She was happy all the time, adorable, and very funny. She would boss you around in a loving way. If you were late to see her by one minute, she would say, “You’re fired!” But, after you said hello or did something nice for her, she would say, “Okay, you’re hired!” There are so many great residents.”

Q. When you’re not at work, what would we be most likely to find you doing?

A. “I also do the same kind of work privately. I’ve been taking care of the same woman for 25 years, and she is very dear to me. When I’m not working, I like to spend time with my husband and visit my grandchildren. I have three grandchildren in Michigan, and three in Italy.”
