    Positions



    ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT- MI ONLY

    The Administrative Assistant is responsible for assisting the Executive Director/Administrator with the day to day operations of the community. His/her responsibilities include, but are not limited to, financial management, maintaining employee information, supervising employees, processing necessary resident paperwork, resident billing, accounts payable and community relations with guests that visit the community.


    ADMINISTRATOR- MI ONLY

    Administrator is responsibile for overseeing Community Operations, Census/Budget/Staff Management and Community Marketing Management resulting in Community profitability. Must be personable, motivated and goal-oriented and able to provide outstanding Customer Service. Must have Bachelor's Degree . Previous Management experience in Senior Housing/Hotel Environments will be preferred. Prefer knowledge of HFA State Regulations. Must have excellent computer skills and through knowledge of preparing/executing budgets.


    COOK- MICHIGAN ONLY

    The Cook is responsible for assuring that the residents' dining experience is of high quality service and enjoyable. He/she is responsible for the overall dining services operations of the department in the absence of the Food Service Director/Dining Services Coordinator. He/she should be organized and detail-oriented. The responsibilities for this individual include, but are not limited to, the preparation and serving of meals, sanitation of the food service areas, accurate record keeping of meals, supplies and other items used, receiving, rotating and inventory of products and regulatory compliance.


    DINING SERVER- MI ONLY

    The Dining Server is responsible for assuring that the residents' dining experience is of high quality service and enjoyable. He/she is responsible for taking resident orders, providing meals, removing used dishes and items for the table, providing residents with beverages and other condiments needed and assuring that the dining room is clean and sanitary after each meal, daily. He/she is responsible for complying with dining menus, policies/procedures and regulations in the safe handling of foods and utensils.


    EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR- MI ONLY

    The Executive Director is responsible for the overall management and success of the community. His/her responsibilities include, but are not limited to, census management, financial management, hiring, supervising, training, employee appreciation/recognition/satisfaction, employee performance reviews, employee adherence to community policies and procedures, communication facilitation, resident/authorized representative assistance, resident/authorized representative satisfaction, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and community documentation and reporting process.Must have Bachelor's Degree . Previous Management experience in Senior Housing/Hotel Environments will be preferred. Prefer knowledge of HFA State Regulations. Must have excellent computer skills and thorough knowledge of preparing/executing budgets.


    FOOD SERVICE DIRECTOR- MI ONLY

    The Food Service Director is responsible for the overall dining services operations, adhere of the dietary department to the policies/procedures and the residents experience for the community. He/she's responsibilities include but are not limed to, the procurement, preparation, and service of food as per the Waltonwood dining program,; financial management of the food and supplies budget; supervising, training and disciplining of dining services team members; sanitization of food service areas, accurate record keeping; inventory and rotation of products; and regulatory compliance. The Food Service Director is responsible providing hands on cooking for the community 3-4 days a week and working on the dietary administrative items 1-2 days a week.


    HOUSEKEEPING/LAUNDRY- MI ONLY

    The Housekeeping/Laundry is a very important part of our community. The Housekeeping Staff is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our community and for ensuring that guests, residents, families and Waltonwood staff have a positive impression of our community. Additional responsibilities include cleaning the common areas, project cleaning/organizing as well as the weekly cleaning in the resident's apartments and weekly laundry services of residents clothes/linens and community linens. Housekeeping/Laundry works closely and communicates daily with the Service Specialist, Administrative Assistant and the Receptionist to assure that all daily and weekly assigned cleaning tasks are completed timely.


    LEASING - SENIOR LIVING- MI ONLY

    Waltonwood, a Luxury Senior Living Community in the Royal Oak area is seeking an Experience Sales and Marketing Consultant to market the community and work with prospective residents. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 yrs of Sales experience with a proven track record in community census management. Must be personable, motivated, caring, excellent customer service skills, goal-oriented, possess time management skills and exceptional communication skills. Must have excellent computer skills and about to work evenings and weekends. We offer competitive base wages and very generous commissions.


    LIFE ENRICHMENT COORDINATOR- MI ONLY

    The Life Enrichment Coordinator is responsible developing, coordinating and implementing the community's activities, fitness program, and volunteer program. He/she should assess the resident interests, plan and manage events/activities within the community to provide a quality, activities programs during the weekdays and weekends.


    MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN- MI ONLY

    The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance services at the community. He/she is primarily responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents. This is accomplished by having a working knowledge of the whole community's systems and related code requirements, including but not limited to fire protection, security, grounds, internal structural plans, HVAC, electrical and plumbing. He/she is should be a team player, possess good organizational skills, time management skills, interacts well with others, and be focused on census management by immediately preparing vacant apartments for new residents and by responding to and/or resolving daily maintenance requests within 24 hours of being reported.


    MED TECH- MI ONLY

    The Med Tech is responsible for the overall resident care concerns during a shift as well as providing residents with their medication and supervision of the service specialists. In addition, the Med Techs are required to provide hands-on care for residents when needed. As part of his/her supervisory responsibilities, he/she will be responsible for making sure service specialist complete their daily assignments. Assignments include assisting with resident care, light housekeeping/laundry, assisting serving in the dining room, and facilitating and/or participating in activities and outings. The Med Tech is responsible for communicating with residents and families and notifying the Administrator/Resident Service Coordinator/Wellness Coordinator of any changes in conditions or concerns. As a team leader and role model in the community, the Med Tech is responsible for performing all job requirements in a manner that is appropriate, professional and reflects the Waltonwood beliefs.


    RECEPTIONIST- MI ONLY

    The Receptionist is usually the first contact and first impression that many people have with Waltonwood. He/she is responsible for greeting guests/visitors in the community, handling internal/external calls, taking and passing on important messages, assisting the nursing department with alarm box messages and monitoring who enters and exits the community. He/she is also responsible for providing administrative assistance to the Administrative Team and should be very comfortable and familiar with the computer.


    RESIDENT SERVICE COORDINATOR/NURSE- MI ONLY

    The Resident Service Coordinator/Nurse is responsible for working with the Executive Director/Administrator to assure the goals, objectives, and quality of service delivered to each resident of the Assisted Living residence. His/her responsibilities included, but are not limited to, census management, financial management of the nursing department, hiring, supervising, training, employee appreciation/recognition/satisfaction, employee performance reviews, employee adherence to community policies and procedures, communication facilitation, resident/authorized representative assistance, resident/authorized representative satisfaction, quality assurance, regulatory compliance and maintenance, and community documentation and reporting process.


    SENIOR HOUSING ADMINISTRATOR- MI ONLY

    Singh has an immediate opening for an experienced Administrator in our Waltonwood Senior Division in Oakland County . Bachelor's degree and/or related management experience in long term care or senior services is required. Must be proficient in H.F.A Rules, Microsoft Word, Excel and Budget Process. Must be motivated and goal-oriented with a proven track record in senior housing. Duties include managing operations, developing the budget, supervising staff resulting in profitable operations and outstanding client service.


    SENIOR LIVING COUNSELOR- MI ONLY

    The Senior Living Counselor is responsible for promoting a positive atmosphere at Waltonwood and for the internal and external sales and marketing of the community. These responsibilities include but are not limited to effectively marketing Waltonwood through presentations to prospective residents, community guests and the audiences in the community; determining and closing qualified leads; and reaching and maintaining budgeted census and revenue goals via deposits and move ins. He/she is responsible for ensuring a smooth resident move-in process and for introducing prospects and residents the Administration team, communicating with the Executive Director/Administrator/Resident Service Coordinator regarding new resident needs, information, and concerns. The Senior Living Counselor should be knowledgeable in Waltonwood Mission, Beliefs, Communities and the Waltonwood policies and procedures.


    SERVICE SPECIALIST- MI ONLY

    The Service Specialist is responsible for providing the hands on care necessary for the residents. He/she is responsibility for provide residents' with physical and emotional support. He/she is responsible for appropriate communication with residents, families, supervisors, and other the team members. Service Specialist daily assignments include, but are not limited to assisting with resident care, light housekeeping/laundry, assisting serving in the dining room, and facilitating and/or participating in activities and outings. The Service Specialist is responsible for communicating with residents and families and notifying the Med Tech or Administration of any changes in conditions or concerns with residents. The Service Specialists are responsible for performing his/her job requirements in a manner that is appropriate and professional. In addition, he/she should help maintain a positive atmosphere in the community and reflects the Waltonwood beliefs.
