1. What does Singh do?
- Singh is a nationally ranked builder/developer and one of the largest in Michigan. With its primary focus in southeast Michigan since 1971, Singh continues successfully in developing and building upscale apartment communities, luxury single family subdivision and homes, senior living communities and premier commercial properties. 2. Is Singh moving all of its operations to North Carolina ?
- No. The Company's strategy over the past 30 years has been to penetrate the southeast Michigan markets as deeply as possible. Having achieved that goal, Singh now plans to diversify geographically by developing in the growing Atlantic states' markets, such as Raleigh , southern Virginia , Charlotte and Atlanta . Singh will continue to develop in southeast Michigan to expand its brand in Oakland , Livingston, Washtenaw and western Macomb Counties .
3. Where is Singh's corporate headquarters located?

1. Where are your furnished apartment suites located?
- Our furnished apartment suites, known as Suites by Singh, are located and available at any Singh apartment community.
2. What lease terms are available with Suites by Singh?
- Suite by Singh offers 1 to 24 month lease terms. Longer lease terms are negotiable.

Singh Homes
1. How can I get directions to a Singh Homes Community? What are the Sales Center's office hours?
- Directions to each site are provided on the specific community's homepage. Our Sales Centers are open daily from 12 pm to 5 pm. Our summer hours are from 12 pm to 6 pm. Sales Consultants are also available by appointment. Our Sales Centers will be closed on Thursdays during July and August.
2. How long will it take to build my home?
- You will be provided with a Construction Sequence Guide so you can follow along with the construction process. The length of time to build is dependent upon many factors such as city approvals, weather conditions, availability of trade partners, backlog of previously sold homes, material shortages, etc. Excluding any events beyond our control, your home will be built in approximately 6 to 7 months from the building permit issue date.
3. What if I need to move in the near future?
- At Singh, we take the varying needs of our homebuyers into consideration. Therefore, we have homes in various stages of construction in most of our communities that will help accommodate the time frame and needs of our homebuyers. Please contact the Sales Consultants for further information about Immediate Occupancy Homes.
4. What are my options if I need to move out of my current residence before my new home is completed?
- Suites by Singh offers short and long-term furnished and should be able to accommodate your needs. However, please note Singh does not offer onsite storage facilities if you need to store your belongings in the meantime. You can check the yellow pages for moving and storage facilities in your area.
5. What is the Selection Process? Will someone be available to help me with Selections?
- You will have twenty-one (21) days from the time you sign a Purchase Agreement to complete the selections process. A Singh Selections Coordinator will assist you and can provide you with as much or as little design assistance as you would like. We understand this is a very exciting time as you will be personalizing your home to your family's needs and lifestyle. Our Included Features provide you with a wide variety of quality products, materials and finishes from which to choose to enhance your home. We also offer additional choices if you prefer to further personalize your home. The Singh Selections Center is located in our Tollgate Woods Sales Center.
6. Do I need a Realtors® to purchase a Singh home?
- We value the relationship we share with Realtors® and welcome them and their clients to our communities. However, you are not required to use a Realtor®. If you choose to work with a Realtor®, he or she must complete a Broker Registration form upon your first visit to any Singh community. Please visit or contact any of our communities for further details regarding our broker-client program.
7. Do you have a mortgage lender that I can work with?
- As part of our continuing efforts to make your new home purchase a pleasant and rewarding experience, we can provide you with our Preferred Lender List. Our previous homebuyers have experienced success with these lenders who are qualified to handle new construction loans. These lenders will be more than happy to assist you with your mortgage lending needs.
8. Will Singh build a home on an individual lot outside of a Singh community?
- Singh homes are designed specifically for the homesites in our communities. We welcome the opportunity to build your new home in the Singh community that meets your needs.
