MEANING OF SINGH
The “Singh” in Singh Development LLC, is more than just a name. The literal translation of the word is ‘LION' which denotes strength and determination. Singh is the common last or middle name for all males of the Sikh religion, which originated in northern India in the fifteenth century. Today there are about 22 million practicing Sikhs in the world, and currently over one million live in the United States .

Sikhism founder Guru Nanak Dev Ji taught the humanitarian practices of freedom, equality and justice. Sikhs believe in remembering God, earning a living by honest means, and sharing the fruits of ones labor with others. With this understanding of the Sikh religion, it is apparent that its underlying principles are embodied through Singh's strict observation of discipline, hard work and honesty.
